Kimberly Skelton serves as the Assistant Curator of Primates at the Denver Zoological Foundation since May 2020, overseeing a team of keepers and a diverse collection of primates while coordinating with AZA standards. Previously, Kimberly held the position of Lead Keeper in the primate division, and prior experience includes impactful roles such as Senior Mammal Keeper at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens, Animal Care Technician at the Endangered Primate Foundation, and Wildlife Rehabilitator at Florida Wildlife Hospital. Additional experience includes managing educational programming as Education Animal Supervisor at Brevard Zoo and working as a Veterinary Technician at Country Oaks Animal Hospital. Kimberly is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Management at Colorado State University Global, following an Associate of Science in Zoo Animal Technology from Santa Fe College.
