Raquel Cuesta López has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of media and marketing. Raquel started their career at Carat in 2011, where they worked as an Account Executive Trainee, managing competition analysis and campaign follow-ups for clients like SCA, Beaute Prestige Internacional, and The Walt Disney Company.

Raquel then progressed to the role of Account Executive, where they were responsible for communication strategies and media planning for clients in various sectors such as perfumery, toys, finance, and alcoholic drinks. During this time, they managed budgets over 5 MM€ and collaborated with international teams.

In 2015, Raquel joined Carat as a Strategic Planning Executive for P&G, where they led the Hair Care category and coordinated multimedia strategies for the Southern Europe cluster. Raquel also developed a methodology to optimize data reporting capabilities for the advertiser.

In 2016, Raquel moved to Zenith as an Account Manager, managing projects and teams for clients in luxury, fashion, automotive, home appliances, and alcoholic drinks sectors. Raquel successfully consolidated the total investment of a client within six months.

Most recently, Raquel has been working at Deoleo since 2019. Raquel first held the position of Global Media Manager, where they were responsible for developing global multimedia guidelines and ensuring the best media plans for 15+ markets. Raquel then advanced to the role of Global Media & Digital Manager, where they defined the global Digital Marketing strategy and drove efficiency in all paid, owned, and earned media through data-driven approaches. Raquel also developed strategic digital guidelines and implemented them across different funnel segments, guiding local marketing teams.

Raquel Cuesta López attended EAE Business School from 2017 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's degree in Digital Marketing and Ecommerce. Prior to that, they studied at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos from 2007 to 2013, earning a degree in Business Administration and Management, as well as a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. In addition to their formal education, Raquel has obtained several certifications. In 2020, they completed a Mini MBA in Marketing with Mark Ritson from Marketing Week Mini MBA. In 2018, they received a certification in DCM, Platforms, Video & Measurement from Google, and a minor in Leadership & Personal/Corporate Communication from EAE Business School. In 2015, they obtained an Advanced Digital Marketing Accreditation from GSM London.
