Floyd DePalma has over 25 years of experience in the software engineering field. Floyd began their career in 1993 as an Applications Developer at Ford Motor Company. In 1998, they moved to AppNet Inc. as a Senior Technical Consultant. In 2000, they joined Commerce One as a Senior Systems Engineer, then Covisint in 2001 in the same role. In 2003, they became a Senior Software Developer at digiChart Inc. and in 2004, they were a Consulting Application Engineer at Hospital Corporation of America. In 2007, they were elected President of the International Association of Software Architects, Nashville Chapter. In 2008, they became the Chief Architect at Industrial Strength Marketing. In 2009, they founded and owned NetEffect Services, and in 2012, they became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DePalma Studios, a web development company focused on user experience.
Floyd DePalma attended Kansas State University from 1990 to 1991, studying Computer Information Systems. Floyd then transferred to the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where they completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems in 1995.
