Neil Adrian S. Cabiles

Neil Adrian Cabiles is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance and economics. Currently serving as the Assistant Secretary at the Department of Finance since September 2013, Cabiles has also held the position of Alternate Executive Director at The World Bank Group from June 2023 to April 2024. Previous roles include Consultant at the Asian Development Bank in 2013, and Assistant Professor at Ateneo de Manila University from April 2007 to June 2017. Cabiles began a career in finance as a Production and Marketing Specialist at Multinational Investment Bancorporation from July 2003 to October 2005. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, a Master of Arts in Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from Ateneo de Manila University.
