Warren E. Burris, Sr. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program operations, legislative consultation, and economic development. Currently serving as Senior Advisor/Director of Program Operations at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Warren provides strategic leadership to advance the agency's vision. Previously held roles include Sr. Legislative Advisor and Budget & Policy Analyst for the Prince George's County Council, where legislative consultation and budget analysis for housing and economic development were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes managing compliance for a $5 billion public-private partnership at LS Caldwell/Purple Line Transit Partners, acting as Deputy Executive Director for the Prince George's County Supplier Development & Diversity Division, and overseeing significant projects for multiple organizations, including the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development. Warren holds a Master of Science in Community Planning & Development from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Valdosta State University.
