Julian Purdy

Julian Purdy is the Chief of Staff of VETS at the Department of Labor. Julian has a long history of working with different companies in various positions. Most recently, Julian was a Consumer Services Specialist with MAXIMUS from December 2017 to July 2020. In this role, Julian helped clients sign up for health insurance through the New York State of Health Marketplace, regularly problem-solved account issues, filed complaints to Dept. of Health and did on-the-spot research to answer client questions and concerns in a timely manner. Prior to that, Julian was an Imaging Specialist with Image Data Inc from October 2016 to April 2017. In this role, Julian was responsible for document preparation, organization, and data entry. Before that, Julian was a Sales Associate with New York & Company from November 2012 to May 2013.

Julian Purdy completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Creative Writing and Studio Art from SUNY Oswego. Afterward, they completed a Medical Transcription Editing Certification from Everett Community College in the field of Medical Transcription & Editing. Lastly, they completed an Advanced Regents Diploma in Liberal Arts & Humanities from South Glens Falls Senior High School.
