Senior Consultant – Inter-government at Department of Premier and Cabinet (Tas)

Antony Deck has a range of experience in various government departments. Antony is currently working as an Assistant Director of Measurement, Evaluation, and Learning at the Department of Premier and Cabinet in Tasmania. Prior to this, they held positions at the Department of Communities Tasmania, where they served as a Senior Project Officer in the Wellbeing, Strategy, and Engagement team, and as a Senior Project Officer and Project Manager for the Joined Up Project. Antony also worked as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Department of Premier and Cabinet and as a Senior Project Officer at the Department of Health and Human Services, Housing Tasmania. Antony'searly experience includes serving as a Project Manager of the ICT Enterprise Ready Program within the Innovation, Science, and Technology Unit at the Department of Economic Development.

Antony Deck has a diverse education history. Antony first pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Jewellery and Metalsmithing at the University of Tasmania from 1990 to 1992. Antony continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Bachelor and Graduate Diploma in Fine Art, specializing in Fine Art, Jewellery, and Metalsmithing from 1990 to 1993. Antony further expanded their knowledge by completing a Graduate Diploma in Fine Art, with a focus on Metalsmithing, at the University of Tasmania in 1993.

Later, Antony shifted their interests towards computing. Antony completed a Graduate Diploma in Computing at the University of Tasmania from 2000 to 2001, where they gained expertise in Information Security, Programming, Network, and Web Design. During the same period, they obtained another Graduate Diploma, specializing in Computing, from the University of Tasmania.

To enhance their knowledge in economics, Antony pursued a Graduate Diploma in Economics at the University of New England (AU) from 2012 to 2014.

Overall, Antony Deck's education history reflects their passion for arts, as well as their diverse interests and dedication to expanding their knowledge in different fields.
