Julie Williams is an experienced public health professional with a strong background in chronic conditions prevention and health program management. Currently serving as the Manager of Chronic Conditions Prevention at Public Health Services, Department of Health since November 2014, Julie also holds the position of Premier's Health and Wellbeing Program Manager at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Tas) since July 2018. Previous roles include Manager of Chronic Conditions Prevention at Public Health Services, Department of Health (Tas) from January 2015 to June 2018 and Manager of the Physical Activity and Community Nutrition Unit at Population Health Services, DHHS from 1998 to 2014. Julie Williams earned a Master's degree in Public Health from Flinders University (2012-2015) and a Graduate Diploma in Dietetics from Curtin University (1986).
