Laura Tedone is an experienced analytical chemist currently working at the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE) since January 2022. Prior to this role, Laura served as an R&D Scientist at iugotec Pty Ltd from 2017 to December 2018 and was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Separation Science at the University of Tasmania from January 2015 to December 2018, focusing on flavoromics technologies in hop chemistry and beer flavor. Laura also completed a PhD in Food Chemistry and Safety at Università degli Studi di Messina, where research involved the analysis of volatiles and extraction of essential oils. Additionally, Laura has held visiting student positions at Tokushima Bunri University and the University of Mississippi and holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Messina.
