Daniel Manama Mokhohlane has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Daniel Manama started their career as an Assistant Teacher at 'Makhethisa Secondary School' in 1994. Daniel Manama then worked as a Senior Administrative Clerk at the Department of Public Works from 2000 to 2001, where they were responsible for various office administrative tasks and communication with stakeholders. After that, they served as a Lab Assistant at the University of Pretoria from 2005 to 2008. Daniel Manama then joined the Council for Geoscience as a Scientific Officer/Project Manager from 2008 to 2010. In this role, they managed projects and conducted scientific work. Finally, they worked at the Department of Science and Technology from 2010 onwards, starting as a Deputy Director of Project Implementation (SBS) until 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Director of Cyber Infrastructure at the same department.

In terms of earlier qualifications, Daniel holds a Graduate Engineering Diploma in Environmental Management from the University of the Witwatersrand, and a Bachelor of Science Honours in Engineering and Environmental Geology from the University of Pretoria. Daniel Manama also has a Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Earth Science and a Foundation Year (UPFY) in Science from the University of Pretoria. Additionally, they completed a Bridging Course in Natural Sciences at Kentron College, Irine, and a Metric certificate at Emshuka Ntambo High School. Finally, in Lesotho, they obtained a Senior Certificate from Sacred Heart High School, St Monicas, and a Junior Certificate (JC) from the same institution. Their education journey began with a Primary School Certificate from Mpharane Primary School in Lesotho.
