Karen Barbu

Karen Barbu has over three decades of experience in customer service and law enforcement support roles. Currently serving as a Customer Service Agent at DHX since September 2002, Karen handles both international and domestic customer inquiries, as well as dispatch responsibilities. Previously, Karen worked as a Dispatcher for the LAPD from January 1990 to January 1995, where responsibilities included dispatching undercover narcotics officers and responding to the LA Mayor's hotline during significant events. Earlier experience includes a role as a Typist Clerk at the Orange County Sheriff's Department from February 1982 to January 1989, managing inmate bookings across various jail facilities. Karen's educational background includes attendance at Rio Hondo College from 2004 to 2007 and Cypress High School from 1977 to 1980.
