Dawn Gresham

Assistant Director Of Special Services at Derby Public Schools USD260

Dawn Gresham currently serves as the Assistant Director of Special Services for Derby Public Schools USD260 since 2020 and has been an Adjunct Instructor at Southwestern College since January 2013, teaching graduate-level courses in Lifeskills and Community Based Instruction, Communication and Literature, and Low-Incidence Disabilities and Health Care Issues. Previously, Gresham was the Assistant Principal at Hutchinson USD 308 for one year and worked as an Intellectual Disabilities Specialist for the Sedgwick County Area Educational Agency from 2012 to 2019. From 2007 to 2012, Gresham was a Teacher of Students with Multiple Disabilities in Wichita Public Schools, focusing on academic and life skills for middle and high school students. Earlier experience includes serving as a Structured Learning Teacher for middle school students on the Autism Spectrum. Gresham holds a Doctor of Education in District Leadership and a Master's in School Leadership from Baker University, along with degrees from Wichita State University and Hutchinson Community College in areas related to special education and music education.
