H. John Oechsle

H. John Oechsle has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the technology and information management industry. H. John is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Derive Systems since March 2020. Previously, they held the position of President and CEO at Swiftpage from July 2012 to December 2019, where they also served as a Board Member since January 2009. Before that, they worked as the Executive Vice President of Strategy & Product at Digital Globe from April 2010 to July 2012. Between 2003 and 2010, they held the role of Sr. Vice President & CIO at IHS. H. John also served as the Company CIO / Vice President Worldwide Information Management and e-Business at Johnson & Johnson from October 2000 to July 2003, and as the Executive Director, NCS Latin America from November 1998 to October 2000. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Vice President & CTO at LandAmerica from 1996 to 1998, and as the Director, Global Information Management at Kellogg Company from 1991 to 1996. H. John started their career as the Director of Systems Development at MFG Systems in 1985.

H. John Oechsle completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University - Camden. H. John then pursued an Executive MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in the year 2000. In 2008, Oechsle participated in the Directors College at Stanford Law School. H. John also studied Business at William Penn University, although the specific degree obtained is not specified.
