Jeffery Jackson

Jeffery Jackson is an experienced finance and business development professional, currently serving as an Advisor at Derive Ventures since January 2022 and as Managing Director at Thayer Ventures, focusing on investments in travel and hospitality technology since May 2012. Previously, Jeffery held several significant roles including Board Member and Treasurer at the Fort Worden Public Development Authority, Board Member and Chair of the Audit Committee at Rent-A-Center, and Board Member at Getty Images where Jeffery also chaired the Audit Committee. Jeffery has a strong academic foundation with an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College. Additional experience includes executive positions at Sabre Holdings, where Jeffery was Executive Vice President and CFO, and participation on the Board of Trustees at Carleton College.
