Maria Soubbotina

Maria Soubbotina, MPS, currently serves as a Senior Account Executive at Derris since July 2023, bringing extensive experience in fashion and lifestyle public relations. Previously, Maria held a similar position at 5WPR from October 2021 to July 2023, where responsibilities included account management and media relations. Maria began a career in publicity at Penguin Random House, supporting various imprints, and has held multiple roles in fashion marketing and event production, including positions at Parsons School of Design, Olive Creative Strategies, and Fashion Week San Diego. Academically, Maria earned a Master’s degree in Fashion Management from Parsons School of Design - The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies from San Diego State University, complemented by professional development from various art and fashion institutions.
