Julian Dobson

Julian Dobson is an experienced electrical and automation engineer with a diverse background in project management and maintenance. Currently serving as an Electrical Project Engineer at DES Group Ltd since November 2019, Julian previously held the position of Automation Engineer at Ball Aerocan, where responsibilities included the integration of Keyence vision systems and migration of Siemens PLCs. Prior experience includes roles as Maintenance Manager at Andros UK Limited and Engineering Manager at Gilesfoods Ltd, where Julian was integral to engineering management, financial accountability, and the implementation of best practices for plant stability and safety compliance. Julian holds an HNC in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Bath College.
