Eric Geerts

Eric Geerts has over 18 years of work experience in product management and consultancy roles in the logistics and customs software industry. Eric started their career as an EDI & e-Business Consultant at Seagha CV in 2002. In 2007, they joined Porthus as a Business Analyst, followed by a promotion to Product Manager in 2008. In 2010, Eric moved to the Descartes Systems Group as a Product Strategy Manager, responsible for managing logistics software products. Eric then progressed to Director and Senior Director roles, overseeing product management of transportation management systems, carrier connectivity, ports, and customs software in Europe and globally. Eric also served as the Vice President of CRSNP, a non-profit association and special interest group for customs software providers, from 2011 to 2017.

Eric Geerts obtained a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering with a specialization in ICT management from the University of Antwerp in 2002. In 2015, they completed a program in Organizational Leadership, specifically for middle management, at the Antwerp Management School.
