Michael Hui

Michael Hui is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Senior Commercial Counsel at Descartes Systems Group since September 2017, Michael has previously held positions including General Counsel and Director of Compliance and Risk Management at Collectrite Ontario (SW86) Inc., where responsibilities included legal advice and compliance management. Earlier experience includes Managing Partner and General Counsel at Business Process Solutions Canada, focusing on contract negotiations and risk management, and independent legal practice as a lawyer at both Christensen Law Firm and Woynarski Law Office, handling litigation, civil cases, and family law. Michael earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Waterloo.
