Robert Pedersen

Robert Pedersen has a work experience primarily focused on customs compliance and government solutions. Robert worked at Descartes Systems Group from 2010 to the present, where they held the positions of Director of Product Management and Director of Customs Compliance and Government Solutions. In these roles, they were responsible for managing the implementation of Descartes Customs compliance Solutions, supporting clients of all sizes, and overseeing AESDirect. Prior to their time at Descartes, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Descartes Systems Group from 2007 to 2010, where they managed post-sales relationships, communicated regulatory changes, and delivered presentations. Before that, they worked at Flagship Customs Services as a Technical Writer/Documentation Manager from 2006 to 2007, where they wrote and published documentation for web-based Customs Compliance applications and provided support to executive clients.

Robert Pedersen attended Flatiron School in 2019, where they obtained a degree in Software Engineering, with a focus on Computer Software Engineering. Prior to this, they attended Northeastern University from 2002 to 2003 and earned a Certificate in Technical Writing.
