Younju Kim

YounJu Kim is an experienced marketing and communications professional with a significant background in both the private and academic sectors. Since August 2017, YounJu has held the position of Director of Global Marketing and Communications at Descente Global Retail, after serving as Global Marketing and Communications Manager. Prior to this role, YounJu worked at Weber Shandwick from April 2015 to August 2017 as a Senior Account Executive and Account Executive. YounJu's academic research experience includes positions as a MA Researcher at Ewha Womans University, focusing on development issues in Cambodia and human security. Earlier career experience includes an internship as an Assistant to the Deputy Director at GLOBE - The Global Legislators Organization from September 2010 to December 2011. YounJu holds a Master's degree in International Cooperation with a focus on Development Economics and International Development from Seoul National University and a Bachelor's degree in International Politics and Development from Waseda University.
