Nate McFadden

Nate McFadden has over 30 years of work experience in the media and technology industries. Nate began their career in 1990 as a Radio Disc Jockey at WHOU FM/AM, and then moved to WERS 88.9 FM as a Radio Disc Jockey/Producer/Broadcast Engineer. In 2000, they joined Digi-Comp as a Digital Media Specialist/DVD Author/Editor. In 2002, they began working at Sonic Solutions as an Engineering Manager/QA Manager, and in 2004 they joined Apple as a Video QA Tester/Senior QA/QA Manager for Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro X, iMovie X, and iMovie iOS. In 2016, they joined Adobe as a Senior Quality Engineer for the Premiere Pro team, and in 2021 they began working at Descript as a Lead Quality Engineer.

Nate McFadden attended Emerson College from 1992 to 1995. Nate then attended the European Institute for International Communications (EIIC) from 1993 to 1993, studying Mass Communications. From 2012 to 2015, they attended California State University - East Bay as an Open University student, focusing mostly on History and Historiography. Finally, they attended Stanford OWC from 2013 to 2015, studying Creative Writing.
