Kris Hopping Sphr

Kris Hopping SPHR, CLRM, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and has held various roles throughout their career. They began their career in 1996 as a Human Resources Supervisor at Off 5th and then moved on to work as a Team Leader at Mervyn's in 1997. In the same year, they also worked as a Human Resources Representative at Cowden Metals. From 1999 to 2018, Kris worked at Coachella Valley Water District as a Senior Human Resources Specialist. In 2018, they joined Desert Water Agency as the Human Resources Director.

Kris Hopping SPHR, CLRM, SHRM-SCP received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Blaine Senior High School in Blaine, MN in 1992. In terms of additional certifications, Kris obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute in 2007, and later obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in November 2015.
