Gilbert Duran

Gilbert Duran has over 20 years of experience in sales and operations management. In 2020, they were appointed Regional Sales Manager at Designetics, Inc. Prior to this, they were Sr. Project Manager at EPRECSA USA LLC from 2015, where they were responsible for creating and executing a sales strategy to develop a new US Southwest territory. From 2007 to 2015, they were Director of Operations in Mexico and South America at GD Heavy Equipment International, LLC, where they founded the company to service the oil & gas, marine and industrial markets. From 2004 to 2007, they were Sales Manager for Latin America at Air Starter Components Inc., an OEM Manufacturer of air starters for diesel engines. From 2000 to 2004, they were Commercial Sales Manager at Sherwin-Williams Company, a conglomerate in the architectural, automotive, industrial, marine and aerospace coatings worldwide. Gilbert was recruited for the company's Business Management Trainee Program before graduation and participated as an intern for 6 months at the Industrial Coatings Sales Office in Pasadena, TX.

Gilbert Duran began their educational journey in 1986 when they attended Mayde Creek Jr. High. Gilbert then moved on to Mayde Creek High School, where they earned their High School Diploma in 1991. After this, they attended the University of Houston, where they obtained a Bachelors Degree in International Business in 2001. In 2020, they completed a Supply Chain Management Course at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
