Amir El Sayed

Amir El Sayed began their work experience in 2012 at basecom GmbH & Co. KG, where they started as a Fachinformatiker Anwendungsentwicklung and held this position until 2015. Amir later took on the role of IT Consultant from February 2018 to May 2020. In May 2020, they became the Director of Business Unit at the same company, before transitioning to the role of CTO at desk.ly in November 2021. Currently, they serve as the CEO and Co-Founder of desk.ly, a company focused on providing a desk sharing platform that enhances productivity, happiness, and innovation among employees.

Amir El Sayed has a strong education background in both business and software development. Amir completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics from the Universität Osnabrück from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, Amir pursued an apprenticeship in Anwendungsentwicklung / Software Development at BBS Brinkstraße Osnabrück from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Amir has also obtained certifications in Atlassian software. Amir is an Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator and Atlassian Certified in Agile Development with Jira Software. Amir obtained these certifications in December 2017.
