Alejandro Gabriel Caputto is an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in software development and technology management. Currently serving at Despegar since October 2022, Alejandro previously held the same position at PedidosYa and returned to Despegar after a tenure from January 2012 to February 2021. Alejandro's technical expertise includes roles as Senior Java Developer and Solution Designer at prominent companies such as Capgemini and IBM. Alejandro began the career in software development at Globant and IBM in various capacities, including Junior and Semi Senior Java Developer positions. Alejandro holds multiple degrees in Computer Science and Biotechnology from institutions including ORT Argentina, Universidad de Palermo, and Universidad Nacional de Quilmes, as well as training as a Chemical Technician from EET N°33 Fundición Maestranza Del Plumerillo.
