Mariano Cifre is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering leadership and software development. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Despegar since May 2021, Mariano previously held positions as a Software Engineer at Ranker and Director of Engineering at Wildlife Studios. Prior roles at Despegar.com included various managerial positions in platform and development areas from 2010 to 2020. As a co-founder and tech enthusiast at Bukeala.com, and through pivotal roles at IT Convergence, where Mariano led a Java Development Team, substantial expertise was developed in managing technical solutions that align with business goals.
