Robbie Thielemans

Robbie Thielemans has a long and varied work experience. Robbie began at Barco in 1993, where they held various roles, including VP R&D Media & Entertainment, Acting General Manager Barco Media & Entertainment, R&D Director Barco Media & Entertainment, Acting General Manager Barco Creative Imaging, Technology Manager Creative Imaging, R&D Manager Daylight Display Systems, and Product Development Manager Projection Systems, as well as Electronic Development Engineer Projection Systems. In 2005, they joined Inverto NV, where they served as CTO - Display / Member of the board, and CEO. Robbie then moved to STEREYO in the same year, where they were Owner / CEO. In 2014, they became Owner / CEO of Robbizz, and in 2015, they joined VER as Display Development - Revolution Display. Finally, in 2018, they were Technology Director at ROE Visual, and in 2020, they became Chief Technology Officer of DetaiLED Solutions.

Robbie Thielemans completed their secondary education at Sint Jan Berchmanscollege Westmalle from 1982 to 1987, where they obtained a Scientific - Math degree. Robbie then went on to pursue a Master of Engineering Science (ir) in IT & Electronics at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1987 to 1993. In 2001, they attended INSEAD for an Advanced Industrial Marketing course.
