Heather Howell Ed

Heather Howell, M.S. Ed, is an experienced educator currently serving as a teacher at Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences since August 2019. Previously, Heather held the position of ELA Teacher at Detroit Public Schools Community District from August 2018 to August 2019. Prior to entering the education field, Heather worked at NeuStar, Inc. as an Associate Provisioner from June 2013 to August 2019, focusing on Local Number Portability and provisioning tasks. Heather also gained retail experience as a Key Carrier/Sales Associate at Payless ShoeSource from September 2007 to August 2012. Heather earned a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Literature from Kentucky State University in 2013 and a Master's degree in Leadership in Student Success from Walden University in 2020.
