Gene Myers

Gene Myers has extensive experience in journalism and entertainment. As a Trivia Jockey for My Trivia Live since November 2018, Gene hosts trivia shows across Canton, Michigan, enhancing local nightlife. Prior to this, Gene served as a Professional Freelancer and Sports Editor at the Detroit Free Press from 1993 to 2015, leading the sports section to numerous accolades during a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades in sports journalism. Gene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from The University of Kansas, obtained between 1978 and 1983, and is a graduate of Bishop Miege High School.
