Ian Iler is the current Football Education Coach for the Detroit Lions. Prior to their current position, they worked for the Lions as an Admissions Counselor, Athletics Liaison, and Assistant Wide Receivers coach at Siena Heights University. Ian's responsibilities included student enrollment for Wayne and Washtenaw Counties and the Ohio region, recruiting prospective students, evaluating applications, and executing the process of admission, registration, and financial aid for eligible students according to the university’s guidelines. As a coach, they administered drills, implemented weekly game plans, assisted with the preparation of camps and travel, recruited prospective student-athletes, and advised on financial aid for eligible students according to the university’s guidelines. Ian also coordinated recruit days and campus tours, served as the admissions contact for athletic requests, and attended major football recruit camps. Ian has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to NAIA/NCAA rules and regulations.
Ian Iler has a Master of Education from Urbana University and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and Education from Urbana University as well.
