Patricia Walker

Patricia Walker is a seasoned executive with extensive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, particularly in the arts and community foundations. Currently serving as the Chief Administrative Officer at Detroit Opera since September 2016, Patricia oversees the company’s financial activities and provides strategic direction for various operational functions. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, where Patricia managed financial operations and technology, and Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Michigan Science Center, focusing on STEM education and organizational sustainability. Patricia also held significant positions at Detroit Symphony Orchestra, contributing to operational and human resource strategies, and began a career in human resources at Bon Secours Health System. Patricia holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology from Cornell University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in English from the University of Michigan.
