Sarra Barnes

Sarra Barnes is an experienced corporate partnership sales professional with a comprehensive background in sports and event management. Since joining the Detroit Pistons in September 2015, Sarra has advanced through multiple roles, culminating in the position of Senior Director, Corporate Partnership Sales, and has previously contributed as Director and Manager in various capacities related to corporate partnerships and business development, including overseeing NBA2K League initiatives. Prior to their tenure with the Pistons, Sarra held positions at Michigan State University, where responsibilities included event coordination and donor relations, and at The Inn at Bay Harbor and Red Frog Events in event coordination and brand representation. Sarra earned a Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University, supplemented by a study abroad program focusing on the Business of the Olympics and International Business & Marketing.
