D'Nae Hearn

D'Nae Hearn is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Senior Education Specialist at the Detroit Zoological Society since September 2019, after a role as an Education Specialist. Prior to this, D'Nae worked at the MI DNR Outdoor Adventure Center from August 2017 to September 2019 as a Program Assistant and Floor Host. Earlier experience includes positions as a Veterinary Receptionist at Dworkis Dog and Cat Hospital and as a Veterinary Assistant at Animal Care Hospital. D'Nae is pursuing a Master of Science in Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England, expected in July 2026, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from Michigan State University, completed in May 2015, along with a high school diploma in Chemical/Biological Science from Cass Technical High School.
