Lydia Kretschmer

Lydia Kretschmer serves as the Head of Cyber Defense Framework at Deutsche Börse since June 2023, where responsibility includes establishing a new team for threat management and modeling. Prior experience includes roles as Expert Data Engineer for IT Security, focusing on SIEM and threat detection, and serving as Expert Security Operations Manager at European Commodity Clearing AG, managing compliance and security services. Earlier positions include Security Analyst at GISA GmbH, where Lydia contributed to various security monitoring efforts, and a Thesis Student in Cybersecurity at NTS Deutschland GmbH, developing a security research lab. Lydia began the career as a Working Student in Software Development and Quality Assurance at Rohde & Schwarz Cybersecurity. Lydia holds a Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Leipzig University.
