Jitka Marks

Jitka Marks is an accomplished journalist currently serving in the Faktencheckredaktion at dpa-Infocom GmbH since June 2022, focusing on workshops in OSINT-methoden, monitoring disinformation on social media, and conducting fact-checking research. Jitka also holds a position in editorial secretariat and final editing at KWALON, facilitating communication with publishers, editors, and authors while overseeing magazine production. Previously, Jitka worked with De Groene Amsterdammer, contributing to web editorial tasks, social media management, and newsletter deployment through Mailchimp. Additional experience includes team leadership at Monsieur Macaron, editorial and production internship at Memphis Film & Television, and various editorial roles at De Groene Amsterdammer. Jitka’s academic credentials encompass a Master of Arts in Netherlands-Germany Studies from both the University of Münster and Radboud University, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Writing for Performance from HKU and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Utrecht University.
