Kim Yi Dionne

Kim Yi Dionne serves as the Editor in Chief of Good Authority and has been involved with The Monkey Cage blog at The Washington Post since March 2014. In academia, Kim serves as an Associate Professor at the University of California, Riverside, with previous roles including Five College Assistant Professor of Government at Smith College and Assistant Professor of Political Science at Texas A&M University. Kim is also the founder, producer, and host of Ufahamu Africa, a podcast focusing on life and politics in Africa, and a board member of Development Gateway, an international nonprofit dedicated to improving data use for equitable decision-making. Kim holds a PhD in Political Science and a BA in Political Science with a focus on International Relations, both from UCLA.
