Nadia Ilahi has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Nadia began their career as a Gender Consultant for the WISE Program at The American Society for Muslim Advancement and The Cordoba Initiative. In 2012, they became a Senior Program Officer at Legacy International, where they managed the TechGirls Program. In 2013, they became a Program Officer at IREX, where they managed the Global UGRAD Pakistan Program. From 2015 to 2021, they worked for IOM - UN Migration, first as a Training Material Developer and then as a Communications Consultant. During this same period, they also worked for Church World Service as a Public Information Manager and Caseworker II. In 2018, they became a Consultant Application Reviewer for Legacy International's TechGirls Program. In 2021, they became a Communications Manager at The U.S. End FGM/C Network. Finally, in 2022, they took on the role of Refugee Operations Analyst at Devis.
Nadia Ilahi has a Master of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from The American University in Cairo, which they completed in 2009. Nadia previously obtained a BA in Anthropology from Arizona State University in 2005. Nadia also holds a UNDSS Basic and Advanced Security in the Field Training certification from the UN Department of Safety and Security.
