Thiago Oliveira

Thiago Oliveira has been working in the technology industry since 2009. Thiago started their career at Banco Fibra as an IT Coordinator and Project Manager, specializing in credit, credit risk, MIS, and finance. In 2011, they joined Itaú BBA as an IT Coordinator for the Special Projects Team. From 2013 to 2019, Thiago worked at Itaú Unibanco as an IT Coordinator for various teams, including SRE Product Owner, Engineering Support, Derivatives, Digital Channels, and Structuring/Modernization Projects. In 2019, they joined Banco Rendimento as a Senior IT Manager, responsible for IT Governance, Agile and Digital Transformation, Corporate Banking Services, Regulatory Integration Systems, Risk Systems, and Fraud Prevention. In 2020, they began working as an MBA Professor at Impacta Tecnologia, a DevOps Institute Ambassador, and a DevOps/SRE Professor at Quode. In 2021, Thiago joined PicPay as Senior Head of Technology for Operations, Growth, Onboarding and Governance, and Security Platform Engineering and Fraud Prevention. Thiago currently serves as a Director of Software Engineering at Mercado Livre, responsible for Platform Security, and an Advisory Council Member at Wivenn.

Thiago Oliveira has a comprehensive educational background. In 2001, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fundação e Instituto Tecnológico de Osasco - FITO. Thiago then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Market of Capital and Derivatives from Universidade do Instituto Educacional BM&FBOVESPA in 2015-2017. In 2012-2014, they earned a degree in Finance from Centro Universitário FIEO. Most recently, they have been studying Governance in Information Technology at Universidade Estadual de Campinas since 2019. Oliveira also has numerous certifications, including DevSecOps Foundation (DSOF) from the DevOps Institute, Certified SAFe 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc., Cyber Security Foundation from CertiProf, and many more.
