Joe Freelong

Joe (Jay) Freelong, ASEP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality management systems, software quality assurance, and project leadership within the medical device industry. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Devote Consulting since January 2023, Joe effectively leads cross-functional teams, mentoring members to achieve project success. Previous roles include Senior SaMD Quality Engineer at The RND Group, Inc., where oversight of client medical device assessments and QMS was provided, and Project Lead at Novo Nordisk, engaging in the development of Software as a Medical Device procedures. Joe's career also includes significant contributions at companies such as Stryker, Hill-Rom, and Zimmer Biomet, demonstrating a strong focus on compliance with regulatory standards and quality improvement initiatives. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Franklin University.
