Sheffield Young

Sheffield Young is an experienced healthcare executive with a strong background in Medicare Advantage markets. As Market President at Devoted Health since October 2019, Sheffield Young has focused on establishing Medicare Advantage markets and building strategic relationships with key provider partners. Prior to this role, Sheffield Young served as Regional Vice President at Cigna-Healthspring from August 2015 to September 2019, overseeing Medicare Advantage markets in several Southern states and key cities. From 2005 to 2015, Sheffield Young held various leadership positions at Cigna-Healthspring, including Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations, responsible for significant operational and strategic oversight in multiple regions. Sheffield Young began the career in healthcare management as Director of Provider Relations at UAB Department of Ophthalmology and as Regional Director of Operations for Urology Healthcare Group. Sheffield Young holds a BS in Business with a concentration in Healthcare Management from The University of Alabama.
