Jan De Laet

Jan De Laet has a diverse work experience in the fields of DevOps, system administration, IT support, and administration. Jan started their career at Profile EuroService NV as an Administatief bediende from July 2014 to February 2015. Jan then worked at IT Business Solutions as a Junior System Engineer from January 2016 to January 2017. Jan joined Rhenus RSSC Belgium as an IT Support Engineer from January 2017 to July 2018 and later became a System Administrator from August 2018 to August 2019. After that, they worked at I&O Factory as a Junior DevOps Engineer from August 2019 to October 2021, and is currently employed at DexMach as a DevOps Engineer starting from August 2019.

Jan De Laet completed a Graduaat degree in Netwerkbeheer from CVO Antwerpen, spanning from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they attended the Scheppersinstituut but did not obtain a degree. Jan has also acquired various certifications, including the Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals from Microsoft, obtained in June 2022. They also hold certifications from The Linux Foundation, including the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer obtained in December 2022, the CKS: Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist obtained in November 2022, and the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator obtained in September 2021. Furthermore, Jan possesses certifications in GitHub Actions, GitHub Administration, and GitHub Advanced Security from GitHub, all obtained in July 2022. They also possess the Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert certification acquired in July 2022, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Support Engineer for Connectivity Specialty, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certifications, all obtained within the period from April to October 2022.
