Alex Fuerschke

Alex Fuerschke has a lengthy work experience in the field of technology and IT. Alex started their career as a Computer Systems Officer at the University of New South Wales in 1994. Alex also worked as a Webmaster at the university for a short period. After this, they joined Wolff Communications as an Information Technology Contractor in 1997.

In 1997, they transitioned to Axiom Funds Management and worked as a Senior Network Analyst for two years. Following that, they joined Deutsche Bank as a Senior Analyst Programmer in 1999 and remained with the company until 2005.

In 2005, Alex joined Dexus as a Senior Analyst Programmer and held various roles within the company. Alex worked as a Business Applications Manager, overseeing the applications team and handling project management responsibilities from an unspecified date in 2008 until July 2014. Alex then transitioned to the role of Applications Architect, focusing on application and enterprise architecture until July 2016. From August 2016 to April 2017, they worked as a Senior Manager, Business Applications, with a larger focus on IT leadership and strategy. Finally, they became the Head of Building Technology Infrastructure in May 2017.

Alex Fuerschke has a Bachelor of Science (Architecture) from UNSW, which was obtained between 1994 and 1996. Additionally, they have a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning from FINSIA, which was obtained between 2000 and 2004. They also completed three out of six years towards a Bachelor of Architecture at UNSW between 1990 and 1993.
