Bastian Hey

Bastian Hey is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and energy systems, currently serving as Gründer und Geschäftsführer at dezera GmbH since July 2014. Prior to this role, Bastian Hey was involved in academia at Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg, where positions included Leiter Smart Grid Labor des Energiecampus Hamburg and Masterand from December 2011 to May 2021. Bastian Hey also contributed to research, consulting, and training at ifu Institut für Umweltinformatik Hamburg GmbH between May 2010 and March 2012, and worked as Diplomand und stud. Mitarbeiter at Bremer Energie Institut from February 2009 to February 2010. Bastian Hey holds a Master of Engineering in Sustainable Energy Systems in Mechanical Engineering and a Diplom-Ingenieur in Environmental Engineering, both from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, as well as experience from Murdoch University in 2008.
