Mads Buttgereit

Mads Buttgereit is an accomplished football coach specializing in set pieces, currently serving as a co-assistant coach with the Deutsche Nationalmannschaft since August 2021. Previously, Mads worked as a set piece analyst and coach at Set Piece Consulting from February 2021 to January 2023 and held the roles of assistant coach for U18/20 and set piece coach for the Danish National Team at the Dansk Boldspil-Union from August 2020 to August 2021, contributing to the team’s semifinal run in the UEFA European Championship 2020 (2021). Mads has extensive experience as a set piece coach at FC Midtjylland and has also held teaching and coaching positions at various educational institutions and clubs, including AaB A/S. Mads holds a UEFA A-Licens obtained in 2014 and a bachelor's degree in education from Silkeborg Seminarium, completed in 2010.
