Nishan de Silva

Nishan De Silva is an experienced IT professional with a background in system engineering, administration, and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Assistant Manager - System Engineering at DFCC Bank PLC since April 2021, Nishan manages key improvements to installed systems and drives enhancements from conception to implementation. Prior experience includes working as a Unix Engineer at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) from January 2020 to March 2021, focusing on Red Hat and Suse systems. Nishan also held the position of System Administrator at Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC from October 2015 to September 2019, overseeing the administration of various banking systems and Microsoft Exchange server. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant System Administrator at Nations Trust Bank from December 2006 to September 2015, contributing to the implementation of a new core banking system. Nishan holds a BSc(Hons) in Computing, Information Technology from Teesside University.
