Christine Booher Sphr

Christine Booher, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in human resources leadership roles. Currently, they serve as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at DFCU Financial since 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Aero Communications Inc., a national telecommunications company, from 2015 to 2018. In this role, they provided strategic leadership in various HR areas such as benefits, compensation, talent management, and employee relations. Before joining Aero Communications Inc., Christine was the Vice President of Human Resources at Cayman Chemical from 2012 to 2015, where they oversaw global HR operations. Christine also worked as the Vice President of Human Resources at Busch's from 2007 to 2012, where they provided strategic HR leadership and managed multiple departments. Before that, they held various HR roles at Busch's, including Director of Human Resources and Recruitment Coordinator. Christine began their career as a Human Resources Generalist at Winkelman's in 1994. Throughout their career, they have managed teams, provided guidance to employees at different organizational levels, and demonstrated expertise in HR functions such as talent management, compensation, and legal compliance.

Christine Booher, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Administration from Central Michigan University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior from the University of Michigan, completing their studies from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, Christine has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. In 2015, they became a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) through SHRM. Christine further achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI in April 2020. Most recently, in November 2021, they obtained the Certified Plan Sponsor Professional certification from the Plan Sponsor Council of America. These certifications reflect Christine's dedication to staying current in their field and demonstrate their expertise in human resources and plan sponsorship.
