Jacob Andersen

Jacob Andersen has over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry, primarily with DFDS since March 1998, where Jacob currently serves as VP and Head of Business Unit North Sea. Prior roles include Route Director for multiple key routes, Managing Director at DFDS Seaways B.V., and various line managerial positions. Jacob's early career included roles such as Shipping Assistant and Controller, alongside a foundational experience as a Finance Trainee. Prior to DFDS, Jacob served as a Sergeant in the Royal Guard of the Danish army. Academic credentials include an Advanced Management Program from IMD and an HD in Marketing & Sales from Copenhagen Business School.
