Muriel de Bakker

Muriel de Bakker is a Project Specialist in Corporate and Supply Chain Sustainability at DFGE – Institute for Energy, Ecology and Economy since December 2023. Previously, Muriel served at CDP from June 2019 to November 2023, holding roles including Account Manager for Reporter Services, where responsibilities included enhancing corporate environmental strategies and performance, as well as supporting global corporations in evaluating climate-related risks. Prior roles at CDP also included Corporate Engagement Officer, focusing on stakeholder management and disclosure, and Engagement Support Officer. Earlier experience includes working as a Social Media Analyst at Buzzcapture, an Executive Compensation Analyst at ISS, and a Student Research Assistant at the University of Amsterdam, among others. Muriel holds a Master of Science in Cultural Sociology and a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a Master of Science from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
