Andreas Schepers

Andreas Schepers has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Andreas currently serves as the Head of Communications for DFKI Berlin. In 2021, they became the host of Space Café Germany for SpaceWatch.Global. Previously, they were the Chief Communications Officer for Planetary Transportation Systems GmbH and PTScientists GmbH in 2019. From 2008 to 2018, they worked for ATG Europe for the European Space Agency in roles such as Digital News Editor and Communications and Social Media Officer. Andreas also worked as a Lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt in 2017. Before that, they were a Writer and electron libre with Spreeblick.com from 2005 to 2008. Andreas began their career as a Communications professional at the German Research Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in 2002. Andreas Schepers also worked as a freelance professional and a Project Manager at Vivendi.

Andreas Schepers completed their Master of Arts degree in Communication, Media, and Public Relations from the University of Leicester between 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended the Universität des Saarlandes from 1994 to 2002, where they pursued studies in Intercultural Communications, Information Science, Law, and Informatics, although the specific degree obtained during this period is unknown.
