Dr. Christoph Tholen

Dr. Christoph Tholen is a Senior Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since March 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Tholen was a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter mit akademischem Abschluss at Jade Hochschule from March 2015 to March 2022 and served as a Visiting Researcher at Curtin University in late 2019, focusing on research related to unmanned underwater vehicles and submarine groundwater discharge. Dr. Tholen earned a Doktor der Naturwissenschaften from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg between 2016 and 2022, and holds a Master of Engineering in Maschinenbau from Jade Hochschule, obtained from 2011 to 2015.
